MOTOROKR E6 Cellphone

Company: Motorola
Price: $545

Hunting for a smartphone with music capabilities? Check out Motorola's latest ROKR model - the MOTOROKR E6. Unlike the earlier E1 and E2, the MOTOROKR E6 is a mere 14.5mm thin and designed as a premium entertainment smartphone.

The triband smartphone (GSM 900/1800/1900) features a large 2.4" QVGA touchscreen, dedicated music controls, integrated FM radio and an SD card slot that supports up to 2GB of memory. If you prefer shooting videos, the built-in 2 megapixel (8x digital zoom) camera lets you take up to 5 hours of MPEG4 video with your 2GB SD card.

Motorola has also dropped iTunes in favour of RealPlayer, which means support for MP3, MPEG4, AAC+, WAV and RealMedia formats. Songs and videos can be moved quickly using the USB 2.0 jack at the bottom of the phone.

Productivity-wise, the MOTOROKR E6 features handwriting recognition, a business card scanner, and a document viewer that reads PDF, Word and Excel files.

The MOTOROKR E6 has a rated talktime of 7 hours and standby time of 235 hours.
